LAPLACE-When the expectations are not whether or not you will win but by how much, you have got to like you chances if you are the head oach.

With nine swimmer totaling over 200 individual points, the Barracudas of Larayo took home the River Parishes’ Invitational Championship this past weekend.

Madison Roussel had 222 total points, Jacob Jensen had 252 points, Kaitlyn Lowry had 218 points, Meredith Keating had 232 points, Brandon Kilbert had 232 points, Luke Jackson had 218 pins, Austin Matherne had 208 points, Paige Brad had 208 points and Kayla Kilbert had 225 points.

Brandon and Kayla also broke two meet records with Brandon setting a new 100 IM record and Kayla setting a new record in the 50m backstroke.

Three relays squads also set new records as the boys 10 and under 100 IM, girls 14 and under 100 IM and girls 18 and under 100 meter freestyle set record times this past weekend.
