New Orleans—On May 19, the annual golf tournament to benefit St. Benedict Abbey was held at City Park. This years foursome winners with a low net score of 59 in the best ball event was Jerry Sixkiller, Rick Rushton of Slidell, Mel Powell and J.C. Weber of LaPlace. Three of the four winners (Powell, Weber and Sixkiller) are all related. These winners received gift certificates for dinner at four different restaurants in the greater New Orleans area along with a paid entrance fee for the 2006 tournament.
