Belle Terre golf event draws all kinds of spectators

Belle Terre Golf Course was the site of over 200 golfers as the New Orleans Golf Association played their regular round there on Monday. Golfers are from the River Region, as well as many from the New Orleans area, and make regular rounds to different aerea courses as part of the NOGA format. One problem for these golfers on the ninth green was when this family of ducks decided to get in the way of their putting. Herb Price of Metairie (right) had to wait as the ducks moved along, after Eddie Bergeron of Marrero (left) chipped from off the green. The Belle Terre course hosts many charitable events during the year as fundraisers for local organizations as well. (Staff photos by Kevin Chiri.)
