After qualifying for the state golf tournament, the Riverside Academy Rebels finished in seventh place at the Division IV championships on the beautiful Links on the Bayou Golf Course in Alexandria, Louisiana.
With a team par of 576, Sterlington took home the Division IV honors with a phenomenal 616 with Loyola College Prep being named the state runners-up with a 663.
Knocking three strokes off of their team score in the second day of competition, it still was not enough for the Rebels as they finished with a team score of 701.
Andrew Loupe of Episcopal was named Division IV State Individual Champion after shooting a 64 and 70, defeating Dusty Green of Sterlington by eight strokes. Adam Pounds of Many took home third place honors individually with a 71 and 77.
