RESERVE-When there is only one senior on your squad and a multitude of sophomores and freshmen, you know you are going to struggle regardless of the sport it is.
Throw in a first-year Head Coach and you are going to have a lot more unhappy days than happy ones.
That is what is occurring at Reserve Christian School as Brandy Mayeaux’s Lady Eagles have not had the greatest of seasons in terms of their win-loss record.
After losing their game Thursday to Houma Christian, the Lady Eagles are now 2-7 and 0-5 in district play.
“We have a very young team,” Mayeaux said. “But my girls really fight and claw every game and give it 100-percent regardless of what the scoreboard says. That is all a coach can really ask of any player.”
