Golf Tournaments Set

LaPlace area junior golfers ages 11-18 are invited to compete in the Caroline Junior Classic at Caroline Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi on March 12-13th. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard and hosted by the four-state (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida) Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour. St. Peter Chanel School’s Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, March 14th at Riverlands Country Club, in LaPlace. It will be a four-man scramble, teeing off at 1 p.m. The entrance fee is $100 per golfer, and includes St. Peter Chanel gift, green fees, cart, range balls, refreshments, sweets, food on the course and dinner in clubhouse that evening. Hole sponsorships are $100. Sponsorship tee box signs will also be displayed at the annual Spring Festival (March 18-20).
