LAPLACE – According to authorities with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office, a 14-year-old Reserve girl was taking a walk on Willliamsburg Drive recently when she was approached by four men, forced behind a nearby house and raped.
The teenager told authorities she was walking in the 1800 block of Williamsburg Drive on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m., when she was beckoned by four black men to cross the street.
Refusing the men’s request, the girl said she continued walking.
The juvenile told authorities she was grabbed by two of the men and steered behind a residence, in the 1900 block. She said she was pushed to the ground and stripped of her clothing.
According to authorities, the girl was raped by all four of the men.
Two of the attackers purportedly wore condoms.
The men fled from the crime scene after the owner of the home turned the outside lights on.
Redressing herself, the girl ran to her aunt’s home nearby. She was driven by her mother to the River Parishes Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
Authorities said one of the men was short and thin. The light toned male had braided hair and he was seen wearing a red bulls shirt and black jeans.
The second suspect was tall and thin. He wore a do-rag under his cap and he was seen wearing a blue, white and black button-down shirt and black pants.
A dark toned male, possessing a medium build wore a white shirt, a jacket and black pants. He was the third man accused of attacking the minor.
Wearing a red and white shirt, blue jeans and a black hat with the words ‘New York,’ the fourth man was tall, thin and dark in complection.
The incident occurred on Thanksgiving day. The girl and her mother were visiting the child’s aunt in the Cambridge Subdivision.
Asking her mother if she could go for a walk, the teenager was allowed but was instructed not to go far.
