Hahnville Tigers trash Trojans

BOUTTE – Terrance Isaac tore up Tiger Stadium Friday night, rolling up 11 carries for 104 yards and five touchdowns as the Hahnville Tigers trounced the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans by the score of 56-7.
In the first quarter alone, Isaac ruled the scoring stats, with a 7-yard run, an 11-yard run, an 18-yard run and a 3-yard run, all for touchdowns.
Drew LeBlanc nailed three PATs in the first quarter as well, keeping up the kicking game for the hosting Tigers.
Added to that were Bryant Lee’s 2-PAT run to Isaac’s first touchdown and a TD pass to Brian Singleton for a 9-yard TD reception and that made the first quarter score 35-0.
In the second quarter, offensive tackle Kevin Maddox recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown, matched with Nathan Duplantis’s PAT for a 42-0 lead on the Cental Lafourche Trojans.
Also in the second quarter, Isaac scored again, this time on a 39-yard run and a Duplantis PAT made it 49-0.
Kemon Jacobs scored as well in the second quarter, returning a punt 46 yard for a touchdown. Duplantis split the uprights, and Hahnville sat pretty on a 56-0 game.
Finally, Central’s Neal Foret hit Lindell Shelby for a 36-yard strike for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to get th eTrojans on the board and averting a shutout. Jacob Rodrigue hit the PAT, and Central was sent packing with Hahnville keeping the 56-7 victory.
Quenton Green carried four times and 66 yards for the Tigers, while quarterback Bryant Lee was seven for 13 in passing and 87 yards, plus one passing touchdown.
