When we hear of crimes against children, we are are often left frightened and unsure of what to do to keep them from becoming victims. As parents and caregivers, we want to do what we can to protect our children. That is why the L’Observateur, Keller Williams Realty, and Omni Bank are sponsoring a free safety fair for kids on October 16.

We want everyone in the community to give their children the necessary information and proper tools to keep them from being victimized. We invite you to join us for free food, drinks, prizes, ID kits, dna kits, and a karate demonstration aimed at teaching children how to defend themselves against predators.
According to a study conducted by the Washington State Attorney General’s Office in 57 percent of cases, the victims of child-abduction murder are victims of opportunity.
Our mission is to make you more aware of the dangers that face our children, and the preventive steps you can take to keep them from being victimized.
