LAPLACE – Dan E. Matherne, a 20-year veteran of the cable television industry, is the new technical operations manager at Time-Warner Cable I LaPlace. His job will be to oversee all technical operations of the system. Matherne was the constructiion supervisor for the cable system in Covington, Ga. He had previously worked as a service technician and installer for 17 years at Vision Cable in Houma. “We have made significant investments in our system as part of our ongoing commitment to the community,” said general manager Jacqui Dugas. “And we are pleased to have a professional of Dan’s caliber as our new technical operations manager to make sure everything continues to run smoothly.”
