United Way selects officers

LULING – United Way of St. Charles elected its new slate of officers and board members at their April 25 annual meeting. President is Jim Adams of American Express Financial Advisors. Vice president is Mark Weavil of Monsanto. Treasurer is Ray King of Shell Chemical. The executive committee now includes Manina Dubroca, Pam Hollins, Ron Loving, Brent Petit, Margaret Swann, Rochelle Touchard and Patrick Yoes. The board members include Mike Brown, Dean Church, John Cornwell, Dickie Duhe, C.J. Jones, Mary Ann LeBlanc, Greg Mollere, Larry Palme, Kathleen Smith, Angela Todara and Dale Webre. These volunteers were selected to represent a cross-section of the community of St. Charles Parish, including schools, law enforcement, goverment, business, retirees, professionals and major industry, according to exective director George Williamson. Because of this perspective, the committee strives to target the greatest health and human service needs of the parish. The numerous agencies of United Way of St. Charles undergo volunteer oversight, audit and programmatic review by the Allocations Committee of the United Way of St. Charles.
