Couple marry at St. Peter Church

Melissa Bryn Hauser of LaPlace and Rusty John Jacob of Reserve were united in marriage Feb. 9 at St. Peter Church in Reserve, with the Rev. Pat Sanders officiating. A reception followed the ceremony at Jefferson-Orleans South, Metairie. The bride is the daughter of Marie Dreher Hauser of Amite and Darrell Hauser Jr. of New Orleans. The bridegroom is the son of Marlyn St. Pierre Jacob of Grand Point and Ricky Jacob of Reserve. The bride wore an A-line ivory gown, designed by Bianchi, with an empire waist lined with silver beading. Bridesmaids carried spray bouquets of lavender calla lillies, pink roses, blue scabiosa, purple wax flowers, pink caspia and silver greenery. The bridegroom and groomsmen wore black Ralph Lauren tuxedoes. The bridegroom wore an ivory vest and tie and groomsmen wore black vests and ties. Maid of honor was Ashley Roussel and matron of honor was Marie Hobdy Brown. Bridemaids were Dana Jacob, Beth Jacob, Jenny Torres and Vicki Parker. The flowergirl was Ashlyn Fendt. Best man was Theodore Verdun III and groomsmen were Clay Frederick, Toby Jacob, Brian Hauser, Fred Borstel and Brandon Maus. The usher was Barrett Brown and the ringbearer was Brycen Brown.
