BADEAUX
HARVEY – Harold J. Badeaux, 94, a native of Romeville and resident of Marrero, died Feb. 14. He was the husband of the late Mercedes Dufour Badeaux, by first marriage, and the late Edna Rome Badeaux, by second marriage, and father of Arlen Sr., Lynn and Janice Badeaux. He was also the son of the late Henry and Lucy Sarrizan Badeaux and brother of Edna Brown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was an usher at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Harvey. Private services were Feb. 17. BOURGEOIS
KENNER – Gilbert “Gilly” Bourgeois, 65, a native of Gramercy and resident of Destrehan for 42 years, died Feb. 17. He was the husband of Betty Jo Vitrano Bourgeois and father of Kelly McCray and Kevin, Carey, Keith and Curt Bourgeois. He was also the son of the late Junius and Elsie Bourgeois and brother of Lois Owens. He is also survived by six grandchildren. He was an industrial operator for Dupont Chemical. Services were Feb. 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Kenner, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. CAILLET
LULING – Cynthia Ann Caillet, 55, a native of Luling and resident of Kenner for nine years, died Feb. 18. She was the former wife of David Champagne Sr. and mother of David Jr., Chad, Kelly and Cami Champagne. She was also the daughter of Syl Sr. and Maybelle Baudoin Caillet and sister of Sylvia Touchard and Syl Jr. and Gerald Caillet. She is also survived by one grandchild. Services were Feb. 20 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. COLEMAN
EDGARD – Denise Marie Coleman, 41, a native and resident of Edgard, died Feb. 13. She was the mother of Jamarr and Adrian Coleman. She was also the daughter of Roenia Burrell Fiffie and Leslie Coleman, stepdaughter of Alvin Fiffie and sister of Rachelle Fiffie and Leslie, Mark and Wayne Coleman. She was also the companion of Medrick Williams Jr. Services were Feb. 19 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery. GUILLOT
LAPLACE – Frank J. Guillot, 90, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Reserve for 72 years, died Feb. 17. He was the husband of Alma Jacob Guillot and father of Marie Borne and Mervin Guillot. He was also the son of the late Olibert and Bernadette Tamplain Guillot and brother of Gerald Guillot and the late Rosa Blanchard and Therese Theriot. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were Feb. 20 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace. ROBEAU
LULING – Fred J. Robeau, 79, a resident of Luling, died Feb. 16. He was the husband of Viola Clement Robeau and father of Phyllis Majoria, Marlaine St. Cyr and Shannon Robeau. He was also the son of the late Humphrey and Lucille Clement Robeau and brother of Ellis, Elmer and the late Harold Robeau. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Services were Feb. 19 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. TATE
AMA – Jane Ruth Tate, 66, a native and resident of Ama, died Feb. 17. She was the wife of Horace Tate Jr. and mother of Calvin and Brian Rickson. She was also the daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Clark and sister of Deborah Brown, Samuel Clark Jr. and the late Arthur Weber Jr. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services are today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ama, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
