ANDERSON

ST. ROSE – Richard Joseph Anderson Jr., 36, a native of Norco and residentof St. Rose, died Nov. 3. He was the son of Richard Sr. and Joycelyn CeliusAnderson and brother of Gail Lane and Timothy, Ronald Sr. and KendrickAnderson.

He was also the grandson of Louis Anderson Sr.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, St. Rose, withinterment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose. Visitationstarts at 9 a.m.

CHAMPAGNE

LULING – Megan Elizabeth Champagne, 2 days, a native and resident of Luling, died Nov. 1. She was the daughter of David Jr. and Patricia Davis Champagneand sister of Matthew Champagne.

She was also the granddaughter of David Champagne Sr., Cynthia Cailliet andJohn and Mary Davis.

Services were Nov. 4 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, with intermentat St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

CHERAMIE

BOUTTE – Marty Joseph Cheramie, 31, a native and resident of Luling, died Nov. 4. He was the husband of Jill L. Cheramie and father of Hannah, Amandaand Perry Cheramie.

He was also the son of Clara C. Sterns.Services were Nov. 6 at Boutte Assembly of God Church.

LANDRY

PARADIS – Richard Warren Landry Sr., 75, a native of Paradis and resident ofDestrehan, died Nov. 2. He was the husband by first marriage of DorothyLandry and by second marriage of Marjoria “Margie” Landry; father of Carol Krejci and Richard Jr. and Robert Landry and stepfather of Rusty Allen.He was also the son of the late Robert D. and Genevieve S. Landry andbrother of the late Mary Alice MacNaughton and Kenneth and Bobby Landry.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

He was a former councilman-at-large for St. Charles Parish, served twoterms on the South Louisiana Port Commission and served as assistant commissioner of administration under Gov. Edwin Edwards.He was also a founding member of Des Allemands American Legion Post, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a U.S. Navy veteran of World WarII.

Services were Nov. 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, withinterment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

ROCHELLE

DESTREHAN – William Berchman Rochelle, 86, a native of Good Hope and resident of Destrehan for 50 years, died Nov. 2. He was the husband of thelate Leonora Riedel Rochelle and father of Anne Montgomery and Gary Rochelle.

He was also the son of the late Joseph B. Rochelle and Theresa Poche andbrother of Nola Weaver, Vickie and Col. J.B. Rochelle and the late MarieGuillot, Blanche Robichaux and Lucette and George Rochelle.

He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan,with interment at the church mausoleum.

TAYLOR

COVINGTON – Mildred Miller Taylor, 95, a native of New Orleans and resident of Vacherie for 35 years, died Nov. 2. She was the wife of the late JosephTaylor.

She was also the daughter of the late Henry and Laura Kidd Miller and sister of Lloyd Miller and the late Henry, Bertrand, Laura and Frances Miller.

Services were Nov. 4 in the chapel of Schoen Funeral Home, Covington, withinterment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington.
