BROWN ST. JAMES – Mable W. “Wolf” Brown, 52, a native and resident of St. James,died Aug. 10. She was the wife of Isiah Brown and mother of Tia Octave andEbony and Ellery Brown.

She was also the daughter of the late Harrison and Fannie Dennis Watts and sister of Valina Epperson, Bernice Stewart and Fannie and Eugene Watts.

She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Services were Aug. 13 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, withinterment at the church cemetery.

COMARDELLE DES ALLEMANDS – Clayton Michael Comardelle, 6 months, a resident of Des Allemands, died Aug. 10. He was the son of Shane and Debbie MullerComardelle and brother of Jennifer Comardelle.

He was also the grandson of Theresa Muller, Daisy Comardelle and the late Richard Muller Sr. and Tyrone Comardelle.He was also the great-grandson of Dora Ford and Ada Champagne.

Services were Aug. 12 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, withinterment at the church cemetery.

HOUSEWORTH LUTCHER – Bertha Devine Houseworth, a native of New Orleans and resident of Gramercy, died Aug. 11. She was the wife of the late BenjaminHouseworth Jr. and mother of Bertha Sumick and the late Sharron Parrott.She was also the daughter of the late William and Mathilda Marshall Devine and sister of Mary Beth and Dorothy Ann Loftin and the late Ruth Gallagher and Catherine Hamilton.

She is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services were Aug. 14 in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher,with interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.

LeDOUX DESTREHAN – Ludovine T. LeDoux, 87, a native and resident of Destrehan,died Aug. 12. She was the wife of the late Preston LeDoux Sr. and mother ofFay Albanese, Merlene Hayes and Preston Jr. and Leonard LeDoux.She was also the daughter of the late Joseph and Celeste Zeringue Troxclair.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were Aug. 14 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan,with interment at the church mausoleum.

NAQUIN HAHNVILLE – Augustine “Augie” Naquin, 90, a native of Theriot and resident of Hahnville, died Aug. 13. He was the husband of Helen Mohr Naquin andfather of Gail Allemand.

He was also the brother of Alfred Naquin and the late Seraphine, Wills, Bernard, Aurestile, Mary, Louise and Paul Naquin.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary CatholicChurch, Hahnville, with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.

Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

SAVOIE LAPLACE – Shirley L. Savoie, 66, a native of Muskogee, Okla., and resident ofLaPlace for 33 years, died Aug. 13. She was the wife of Donald Savoie Sr.and mother of Stacy Alessi, Peri Eldridge, Toni Robbins and Donald Savoie Jr.

She was also the daughter of the late John and Bessie Turney Robinson and sister of Joyce Shiel, Peggy Ivey, Harold Robinson and the late Agnes Goodell and Edward, John Jr. and W.C. Robinson.She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, LaPlace, withinterment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

VINNETT RIVER RIDGE – James Earl Fellman Vinnett Sr., 83, a native of St. Rose andresident of Kenner for 59 years, died Aug. 13. He was the father of ElaineLasalle, Rose Bazile, Gwendolyn Banks and James Vinnett Jr.

He was also the brother of Ida Blue and Theodore Vinnett.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church, River Ridge,with interment at St. Mark Cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.
