RESERVE – And then there was one.

Crystal Rome of Riverside has again been selected to play for the Kenner Angels AAU girls’ basketball team this season. It is the fifth straight yearthat Rome has been selected to play for the Angels.

Rome will play for the Angels’ 14-year-old team. Of the players that wereselected to play for the 10-year-old team, she is the only one still with the Angels. She has also been invited to play in the USA Junior Nationals and tobe a member of the People to People Ambassadors and has been named to the “Who’s Who in Sports” for the second straight time.

Rome and the Angels begin play next weekend in the Louisiana Games. Thestate tournament will begin in June with the national tournament in July in Monroe.
