Two Norco youths remain missing

NORCO – Two Norco teen-age boys have been missing since Feb. 22 and arebelieved to be runaways. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking thepublic to help in the search for them.
Christopher Letard was last seen Feb. 22 at 7 a.m. as he headed for school. He is 5-feet-10 iand weighs 140 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes. Hewas last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the word “Tool” on it, blue jeans and black shoes.
Christopher is the son of Roxanna Colon and step-son of Robert A. “Bobby”Colon Jr. of Norco. He is a senior at Destrehan High School and active in theROTC program.
His mother said he is in the company of a second youth, Matthew Naquin, 18, also of Norco. Naquin is described as having a stockier build, with black hairparted in the middle and acne.
The two are believed to be traveling toward Pensacola, Fla., in a white 1992Ford Mustang, license number ICE-617, with heavily-tinted windows.
Letard was last seen with his green school bag and a black saxophone case.
It is not believed at this point he was a victim of violence.
“He’s very friendly and polite, with a beautiful smile,” his mother said. “Youcan’t help but notice him.”She stressed that he is “not in any trouble, but to please come home.”Anyone with information about the missing youths is urged to call Sgt.
