Adams now supervising more areasL’Observateur / March 1, 2000RESERVE – Entergy Bayou Division lead customer service manager John Adams recently assumed supervision over the Northshore Division, adding four additional parishes to his geographical territory of customer service managers.

Adams now supervises Hammond customer service manager Don Boihem and Bogalusa/Amite CSM Craig Schimpf. Boihem handles customer service matters inHammond and southern Tangipahoa Parish, while Schimpf handles similar matters in St. Tammany, Washington and St. Helena parishes as well as northernTangipahoa Parish.
Adams succeeds Northshore Division lead CSM Ann Hester, who recently was named Hammond network manager. He currently supervises customer servicemanagers in Terrebonne, Lafourche, Assumption and South Jefferson parishes.
Adams, based in Reserve, handles customer service matters and is a liaison for Entergy with governmental officials in St. John and St. James parishes andportions of St. Charles Parish and Ascension. The combined territories will totalapproximately 170,000 customers.
“John’s previous experience in customer service combined with his many years of utility experience will enable him to insure that Entergy’s Bayou and Northshore divisions are effectively and efficiently managed in the customer service area,” said James Bruno, vice president of customer service.
Adams, a 51-year-old native of Jennings, has been with Entergy 21 years and formerly worked as a district manager in Calvert, Texas. He is a graduate ofMcNeese State University and earned a bachelor of science degree in business management as well as an economic development institute degree from the University of Oklahoma.
