Ronald and Cynthia Frederick of Jennings announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Lynn Frederick of New Orleans, to David Andrew Ramirez Jr. of Jefferson, formerly of LaPlace.The groom is the son and step-son of Emelie and Mark Ponder of Prairieville and David and Donna Ramirez of LaPlace.

The couple plan to wed Dec. 11 at Our Lady Help of Christians CatholicChurch in Jennings.
