AUCOIN

RIVER RIDGE – Kenneth Joseph Aucoin Sr., 57, a native of Vacherie and aresident of River Ridge, died Aug. 27. He was the husband of ConstanceMarquer Aucoin and father of Anne Garraway, Kim Bourgeois, Angele Fontenot and Kenneth Aucoin Jr.

He was also the son of Winnie Waguespack Aucoin and the late Felix Aucoin Jr. and the brother of Jeanne Hobson and Edsel, Van, Leonard, Pauland Ralph Aucoin.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Aug. 30 at St. Matthew the Apostle CatholicChurch, River Ridge.

BAUDOIN

NORCO – Rowena Jumonville Baudoin, 76, a native of Gramercy and a resident of Norco, died Aug. 27. She was the wife of Edwin C. Baudoin.She was also the daughter of the late Louis and Lottie Jumonville and sister of Evelyn Gaudet and the late Louis Jumonville Jr.

Services were held Aug. 30 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church,Norco, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

DUFRENE

DES ALLEMANDS – Rodney Paul Dufrene Jr., 23, a native and resident of DesAllemands, died Aug. 29. He was the husband of Jacqueline Peralta Dufreneand father of Claudia Marie and Marcos Alexander Dufrene.

He was also the son of Rodney Sr. and Nanette Luquette Dufrene.He was also the grandson of Alfred and Marie Rousseau Luquette and Vaniess Dufrene and the late Julia Truxillo Dufrene.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Des Allemands First Assembly of GodChurch, with interment at the Mennonite Cemetery, Des Allemands.

Visitation begins at 8 a.m.

INGRAM

LAPLACE – Jesse Donnell Ingram, 77, a native of Laurel, Miss., and aresident of LaPlace for 20 years, died Aug. 28. He was the husband of DorisMcLain Ingram and father of Suzi Ourso, Gail Ewing and Douglas Ingram.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Aug. 31 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home,LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

NOBILE

GRAMERCY – Hester Belanger Nobile, 90, a native of Houma and a resident of Gramercy, died Aug. 30. She was the wife of the late Dr. A. J. Nobile andmother of Donna Derks and Anthony “Buzzy” and Hugh Nobile.

She was also the sister of Dorothy and John Belanger.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was a charter member of the Riverside Garden Club of Lutcher.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy,with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

RHOADES

KENNER – G. Sue Rhoades, 57, a native of Transylvania, La., and a residentof LaPlace for nine years, died Aug. 29. She was the wife of Jerry “AbeLincoln” Rhoades and mother of Elizabeth “Cricket” Knight and John Jr. andEric Dufour.

She was also the daughter of the late G. L. and Mable Smith; the step-daughter of the late Tillis Gauthier and the sister of Adlid Waldron, Richard Smith, Donald and Evan Gauthier, the late Betty Kimble and Shirley Smith.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & Son FuneralHome, Kenner, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
