Schexnayder, Miss Forsythe exchange vows

LAPLACE – Terri Lynn Forsythe and Richard Paul Schexnayder were united in marriage Aug. 7 at Ascension of Our Lord Church in LaPlace with theRev. Benjamin Piovan officiating.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Farrel and Barbara Forsythe of LaPlace. Thegroom is the son of Carroll and Sharleen Schexnayder of Paulina.

The bride’s dress was a white satin A-line gown featuring a beaded alencon lace bodice and a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet ofspring flowers and white roses.

The bridesmaids dresses were sage green A-line gowns. They carriedbouquets of spring flowers.

The matron of honor was JoAnne Gonzales of LaPlace. Bridesmaids wereDolly Forsythe, Shannon Millet and Kerri Cambre, all of LaPlace; Tammy Schexnayder of Paulina; and Heather Hebert of Pierre Part.

Best man was Cory Bourgeois of Paulina. Groomsmen were Farrel ForsytheJr. of LaPlace; Keith Bordelon of Lutcher; Ferell Zeller of Gramercy; andLynn Roussel and Carroll Schexnayder Jr. of Paulina.Flowergirls were Loren Gonzales of LaPlace and Amelia Schexnayder of Paulina. Ring bearer was Ryan Forsythe of LaPlace. Ushers were Rodman Gonzales of LaPlace, Byran Schexnayder of Paulina and Trent Avis of St. Louis, Mo.Following the wedding, the couple took a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico.

The couple will reside in Gramercy.
