Daughter of the late Louvenia and George Clay Sr. Wife of the late Clarence Young Sr. Beloved mother of Ledger Young Smith of LaPlace Elouise Johnson of Edgard, , Edward Young of LaPlace and the late Sterling Young, Alice Young Geason and Clarence Young Jr. Sister of the late Frances Duncan, Margaret Cook, Gus and George Clay.
Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, 46 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 94 years. A native and resident of Reserve.

Princess Jasmine Green, age 10, departed this life on Monday, October 27, 2008, in Laplace. Daughter of Tameki Green and the late Mervyn Parham. Step daughter of Donovan Sanders Sr. Sister of Donovan Sanders Jr. Granddaughter of Arlene Taylor and Gerald Green.
Also survived by great grandparents, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Family and friends, St. John Parish School board and Fifth Ward Elementary School are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ, 129 Apple St., Laplace, La. Bishop Ronald Frank, Pastor Officiating and Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Reserve, La. Visitation at the church from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Service time. Lambert
Sylvia Theresa Lambert, age 69, was born on January 17, 1939, and passed away on October 28, 2008, at Riverlands Nursing Home. She was a native and resident of Lutcher. She was an organist for St. Joseph Church for many years and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her sisters: Thilda Maiorana, Janis and Pete LeBlanc, Catherine and Clifford LeBlanc and sister-in-law Janice P. Lambert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Adela Dupuis Lambert; her brother, Lowell Lambert and sisters: Janet LeBlanc and Mary Francis Veron.
Visitation and services were held on Friday, October 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in. Interment was in the church mausoleum.
